Our mission is to raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) supporting critical programs for cancer research, prevention, survivorship, clinical trials and one day a cure. We believe that we can be successful, raise funds and awareness while having FUN.
The LAF inspires and empowers people affected by cancer. They help people with cancer focus on living; they believe unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Through the dollars and awareness that we raise for the LAF, we can inspire and empower individuals, and we can make life better for the more than 11.9 million Americans affected by cancer. We are entering our 3rd year of participation in the LIVESTRONG Challenge in Philadelphia. The LIVESTRONG Challenge is the LAF’s signature fundraising event. The walk/run event is a 5K and there are bike events for 10, 40, 70 or 90/100 miles. Led by testicular cancer survivor and founder Brian Dowd, we have raised over $45,000 since February 2007 to benefit the LAF.
You can support our participation by making a donation or Join the Fight. Take the Challenge. Register today for the 2009 LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly.
