Thank you for visiting Team Down One! My name is Brian Dowd. I founded Team Down One in 2007 to raise money to benefit LIVESTRONG. Since 2007 Team Down one has raised >$55,000. I would like to invite you, your family and friends to join Team Down One as we participate in the 2011 LVIESTRONG Challenge Aug 20-21. As a member of Team Down One and Team LIVESTRONG you can walk, run or ride in the fight against all cancers. Team Down One members participate in the LIVESTRONG Challenge Philadelphia (Blue Bell, PA) Aug 20-21. By participating and fundraising for Team Down One, you join a group of committed individuals dedicated to inspiring and empowering people affected by cancer.
The LIVESTRONG Challenge Series is the signature fundraising event for LIVESTRONG. For the past fourteen years, the Series has raised over $68 million for the fight against cancer. In 2011, the LIVESTRONG Challenge Series will visit three cities across the U.S.: Bay Area, CA; Philadelphia, PA; and Austin, TX. In Philly, in order to accommodate a larger number of participants, LIVESTRONG will have a two-day format with the walk/run on Saturday and the ride on Sunday.
If you are interest please go to JOIN OUR TEAM to sign up for our team. No Fee (FREE) Virtual participants can register, join a team, fundraise and receive incentives. If you participate in just the 5K or 10K walk/run then the registration fee is $45. If you participate in the 10, 20, 40, 70 or 100 mile bike ride the registration fee is $45. If you want to participate in both Saturday and Sunday events the registration fee is $75.
